1/2 an once of alcohol boiled 2 cups of water at 8,000 feet of elevation with the high temperature burner. I am climbing the collegent peaks (14,000 ft) this summer and will let you know how they work at that elevation.

I was at an advanced training for adult leaders. One guy I couldn’t tear away from your stoves, and several others were quite impressed   It’s weight: terrific, ultralight (hey, I already carry tent stakes). It’s function: great, for those who, like me, prefer alcohol. Quality: the good workmanship shows (it doesn’t look—or leak—like many others that seem fresh from the garbage/recycle bag). Best feature: the stand/windscreen; easy to use, durable, and ultralight.
